![]() ![]() I am trying out a couple new builds on this second run which I have on Tactician. Wings grants you the Fly ability the Summon Condor has, with the same 1 turn cooldown. Bull Horns has 0 AP and 0 SP cost, lasts 4 turns, and gives you that Battering Ram ability Bull Rush which doesn't have the knockdown effect of battering ram but only has a 1 turn cooldown. Its an extremely effective crowd control tree, not only does it have plenty of abilities to disable both melee and casters but it has the maneuverability to get around and really control the battlefield as well. I think its an overlooked tree by a lot of people but in all honestly its really great. I'm also going to throw a point into Polymorph to craft Turn to Oil to combine with Blood Rain and or Rain to create a very specific large oil field to use as a great crowd control, or use it to replenish a lot of armor. Once I can start sparing points into areas such as Scoundrel to grab The Pawn and Warfare to be able to grab the bouncing shield + boost physical damage from the Necro Tree skills and Geo ones like Reactive Armor I think it'll be really good. Which started off a bit slow but is really coming in to its own. This time around I have an Undead character who is using Main Geomancer with Necromancy as a kicker. On the other hand I like how Warfare abilities scale damage based off your weapon, so if you didn't realize you can even use Warfare as a secondary on a Dual-Wield Rogue or with a staff on a pyro battlemage as they'll switch to Finesse and Intellect. Conjuring isn't quite unique or cool on this one by much BUT its pretty effective. Some of my favorite skill trees so far, are ironically pretty different from the first games. I failed that fight 5x cause I made it harder on myself just due to how attached I was to rp’ing my elf. then went along with what they said cause it made sense. With him being an elf, he attacked the last boss on sight and refused to listen to anything they said. I justified it by what better healer is there than one who understands death, hmmmm? ![]() he ended up with a lot of Necromancy (shh, don’t tell the others). and was alternatively horrified and delighted to find it was LITERALLY made of bones. The highlight of his Arsenal was, I found Summon Bone Widow and just HAD to have the spider. He earned the Hero tag in-game, too (I was so proud of him!).īy the end of the game, his skills were all over the place due to me not understanding I could respec. He has the Mystic tag (due to his healer/witch backstory) and the Outlaw tag (after the massacre of his Elven brethren, he spent years wandering, lost and confused). My elf is a Storm Mage with a soft heart for healing others, using his connection to the sky to soothe wounds. ![]() I usually play either a thief or healer, and I knew I could make another person a thief, so I went with healing. The Elven lore is fascinating to me as a Historian/Archivist what I wouldn’t give to be able to literally absorb memories. I madly adore my cannibalistic, chaotic good giraffe boy. I saw the elves at character creation and fell in love immediately. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE that we have options for backgrounds, but I still loved crafting my own character and backstory. I’ve played both a custom (first playthrough) and Origin character (second run) and honestly? I love my custom more.
